Born in Curaçao. A small island with big contradictions: colonial architecture next to Caribbean warmth, four languages before you turn ten. It taught me early that where you grow up shapes what you see. And what you don’t.

BSc in International Business. Then a Master of Science in Finance and Investments. Years of learning how organizations work on paper. Slowly realizing that the interesting stuff was never on paper. The human behavior behind the numbers. That’s where things actually moved.

Started what would become Reshapers. Not with a grand plan. With a frustration. Organizations kept spending millions on transformation and ignoring the conditions that made change impossible. 15 years later, still at it. Built FORCES along the way: a diagnostic for measuring what actually shapes culture.

It rewired how I think about what people are capable of.” Deepening involvement with the World Scout Movement. 57 million young people. 170+ countries. Discovering that leadership without authority actually works. If the conditions are right. Cross-cultural belonging at a scale I didn’t think was possible.

Leading the 2024–2027 strategy for the largest youth movement on the planet. Everything I’ve learned about conditions, belonging, and environment. Now applied at global scale.

I was born in Curaçao. Yu di Korsou. Small island. Big talent. A colony for centuries, shaped by Dutch, Spanish, and African influence. Still reckoning with the past. You learn four languages before you realize that’s unusual. You see colonial architecture next to Caribbean warmth.

These paradoxes taught me something: environment shapes growth. The spaces we occupy, the people around us, the cultures we navigate — these matter more than any curriculum or training program. Environment shapes who leads, who follows, and what anyone believes is possible.
